Mantras, Manifestations & More
How I Manifest, and how you can too.
I originally wanted to title this post, Mantras, Manifestation, and Magic but some people are so weirded out by the word magic. I don't understand it.
What I do understand is, the universe is magical. The world is pure magic. Flowers bloom from a tiny seed, many of them gravitate toward the sun. Puppies love you with all that they are. People can literally create life with their bodies. All of that is MAGIC. So when I use the word magic, just know that it is a very positive connotation.
All this to say, use this time to be openminded about what I'm about to say. I'm a metaphysical person so I believe lots in energies and signs from the universe, and attracting everything you want. So just know, magic is real because you, you incredible being, are magic.
Ooh Mantras. Something I for sure need to work on. I think of them as sort of affirmations and reminders that we can set for ourselves and retrain our mind to inspire us to be the best version of ourselves. We use them a lot in Deepak Chopra's meditations, which I highly, HIGHLY, recommend. But why not have a daily mantra for ourselves and something that we want to believe? Right now my mantra is "Beautiful girl, you can do hard things." It's so encouraging and sweet. My mantra for the past year, before the one I just stated was a lot sillier. When I'd have anxieties creep up, I'd say, "I'm a strong and independent woman, and I don't need no man!" To make me break up that fear and instead make me laugh. Though, I do believe these mantras with all my heart. It's important to find something you believe in to retrain your frame of mine. Repeat it to yourself until you believe it! (More on this in a later post.)
You are a product of your imagination. Think about that for a second. You have attracted everything around you. You have created your circumstances. You are in the exact position you have worked for. The relationship, the people around you, your job, everything in your life you have attracted to you. Don’t like your current situation? Change it. It’s really that simple. Imagine what you want, and work toward it.
One day soon I'll write a post all about how I've been able to manifest everything I want into my life. For now, I'll just walk you through how to do it and remind you that we are powerful beings.
Basically all you have to do is:
#1 decide what you want
#2 know with unwavering faith that you can have or achieve what you want
#3 visualize your goals as if you’ve already achieved them
Once you've taken these three steps you will see the universe conspire to bring you opportunities to help you accomplish your goals or bring what you want to you. This doesn't come without work though. You must put the work in to prove to yourself and the universe that this is what you truly want. But it will come so much easier, and quicker than you could have ever imagined. Amazing opportunities will come out of the woodwork.
When you visualize something happening in your mind, your mind can’t distinguish it from real and your imagination, and will therefore create more situations for you to make that goal a reality.
Sounds really woo-woo and weird, but all successful people have a version of this that they follow to get to where they are now. Try it! I'll do it too, and keep you posted on how it goes.
